4. cookies and tracking services
We use cookies. These are small text elements that are used to store information in web browsers. Cookies are recognised the next time you visit our website and make a significant contribution to speeding up loading processes and making the use of our services more convenient for you. The information recognised and stored by cookies is used to recognise you, but also to analyse your user behaviour. They are stored on the server of the respective provider, who has undertaken to comply with the applicable data protection standards as our processor.
After you have visited our website, cookies remain stored on your end device unless you refuse them from the outset or actively delete them. Actively deactivating cookies may impair the functionality of our website for you. You can also prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website. Our website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are explained below:
- Transient cookies: Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the shared session. This allows your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
- Persistent cookies: Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.
You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. We would like to point out that you may not be able to use all functions of this website.
You can also prevent the transmission of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available on the google.com website. However, the plug-in is only available for certain browser programmes.
We also use third-party content on our website to make our internet presence as informative and convenient as possible for you. This includes Google Maps and YouTube, for example. These third-party providers receive your IP address for technical reasons. We have no influence on the use of this data by the third-party provider. In this regard, we refer you to the privacy policies of the respective providers.
5. web analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which enable Google to analyse the use of our website. The information collected by the cookies about the use of our website (including your anonymised IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on our websites to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Your IP address is only recorded by Google in abbreviated form, which ensures anonymisation and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity. In the case of IP anonymisation on our website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google also observes the data protection provisions of the "US Safe Harbor" agreement and is registered with the "Safe Harbor" programme of the US Department of Commerce. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. A transfer of this data by Google to third parties only takes place on the basis of legal regulations or in the context of order data processing.
The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on "Privacy Shield". Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Transmission to third parties / obligations of processors
Your personal data may be processed by us under certain circumstances
- within the organisation, taking into account the permitted purposes of use,
- to processors (e.g. for our electronic advertising in the form of newsletters) and to third parties who must be involved in the provision of the services you have requested, all of whom have undertaken to comply with the applicable data protection standards. If compliance with European data protection standards is not possible - for example because standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or certifications are not guaranteed in a specific case - we will inform you in good time and also obtain the necessary consent from you.
By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google and the manner of data processing described above as well as the stated purpose. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website.
Objection to data collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this website: Deactivate Google Analytics. You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy.

7. facebook plugins (Facebook button)
Plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated on our pages. You can recognise the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo on our site. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When you visit our site, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the plugin. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. You can find more information on this in Facebook's privacy policy at https://de.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
8th Instagram
Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our pages. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking on the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram. Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. You can find more information on the handling of user data in YouTube's privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
10. SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the enquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
11 OpenStreetMap
We have integrated maps from the online mapping tool "OpenStreetMap" on Renatha-POI. This is a so-called open source mapping, which we can access via an API (interface). This function is offered by OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. By using this map function, your IP address is forwarded to OpenStreetMap.
What data is stored by OpenStreetMap?
When you visit one of our websites that offers OpenStreetMap, user data is transmitted to the service and stored there. OpenStreetMap collects information about your interactions with the digital map, your IP address, data about your browser, device type, operating system and on which day and at what time you used the service. Tracking software is also used to record user interactions. OpenStreetMap specifies the analysis tool "Piwik" in its own privacy policy.
The data collected is subsequently accessible to the OpenStreetMap Foundation. According to OpenStreetMap, personal data is not passed on to other persons or companies unless this is legally required. The third-party provider Piwik does store your IP address, but in truncated form.
How long and where is the data stored?
The API servers, the databases and the servers of auxiliary services are currently located in the United Kingdom (Great Britain and Northern Ireland) and in the Netherlands. According to the provider, your IP address and user information, which is stored in abbreviated form by the web analysis tool Piwik, is deleted after 180 days.
If you would like to find out more about data processing by OpenStreetMap, we recommend that you read the company's privacy policy at https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
